Activity 1: Stress
- Imagine you had a boss who you felt placed impossible demands on you. How would you feel and what methods could you use to cope? Compare your reactions to others.
- Discuss whether all stress is necessarily bad. Would you perform as well in an examination if you felt no stress at all?
- Think of as many different sources of stress as you can.
- Try to think of ways in which they could be classified or grouped together (for example family, work, etc.). Are there any patterns that emerge?
